A trip that fall

Do you hear the water dripping?
From the tap to the sink,
into a hole that is a bottomless drink,
the world stands on a brink.

From dryness of the throat,
To knee deep in rising water,
The dryness within, in the cold around.

The preciousness of it all,
Waste not the needed,
Keep in mind the choices,

To save or to let go.
-The precious

Well, another dated post, I went with ZD and Laureen to the binele on the 5th of this month to the old high court. The poem I wrote was inspired by the slowest most mundane video I've ever seen... about drought and floods... I guess its supposed to signify the importance of water, and not wasting it... too bad there was no write up anywhere to explain the message behind the video.

As we walked up the stairs from the entrance this was the art that was on the wall... like some strange greeting...

When we entered the place, there were many maggots all over! ther looked like fish with a maggot's body and a durian for an ass.

We saw these vases filled with gourds that were craved to make faces...

In another room, the whole floor was the map of singapore... Aparently they used the google earth photos! The stickers on the floor are given to people who come to the place and are allowed to paste it wherever with whatever they want to write.

Above that room there was this really interesting walk way, that has the feel of an old school theatre.

We came across a room filled with flowers! they were made of metal and were painted!

On the other side, it was all black, but it was truly a beautiful sight!

Notice how each peice is different, and the level of detail... and the sheer number...

We came across this scooter with a pelican on it... and the entire thing was sewn!

Finally... My favourite exhibit is this solid animation, where the moving parts move to make it look like its really moving!
I leave you all now with a video of the animation. Adieu to all! -Kwan
